The much anticipated first calves from our French proven Charolais sire Epernay RVS have arrived in Ireland.
This bull calf pictured above was born on the farm of pedigree breeder Mr. Frank Ward.
The calf was born with a little assistance out of an 11 year old favourite cow of Franks!
Delighted with his first Epernay calf, Frank said “he’s probably the best pedigree bull calf I’ve bred so far”.
Some other commercial calves which Bova have inspected have been born with little assistance on mature cows and breeders are very satisfied with their progeny wibit inflatable water park.
They have very good width, shape, strong tops and are growing on really well.
